Scene Set-Up:
After the tumultuous dinner-preparing hour where I am grumpy and hot and cooking, after everyone is fed and put their dishes in the sink and the evening is finally winding down, the kids are quiet (for once) and I can't help but remark about it.
Me: "Ahh, I love it when everyone is quiet and the house feels so peaceful."
Alex: "So, why are you talking then?"
Again, point taken. He is such a sarcastic stinker! My four year old gives me lip! If you don't believe me, read this post, if you haven't already. I can't tell if he's trying to be funny or just literal. He doesn't laugh or smirk, he just looks at me with these big, curious eyes and shrugs his shoulders. Good thing he's so cute!
