Family Fun in Tahoe
We had almost the whole gang--We missed you James! So we took some family pics at the Marriott Timber Lodge where we stayed.
At church...
The weather was left to be desired. We should of known when we pulled into the hotel last Saturday and it was HAILING! The boat sat in the water tied to a buoy all week because the winds were too strong and we NEVER WENT OUT ON THE BOAT!! The whole week. Sad. Thankfully we had some great amenities at our hotel and we were sheltered from the wind!...
Awesome pool and 4 (yes, 4!) hot tubs which was great on the cooler days...
Fun with Uncle Scott...
Hula-Hoop Contests (for the kids, but somehow the adults got involved!)...
Crazy Dave did great on his "first time" (questionable!)
We also went to a movie on the really rainy day and let the kids play video games in the condo while the adults read books and magazines.
The highlight was when we went to this little Angora Lake that you hike to (Thank you for the great recommendation Edgrens!!). It's tucked away and beautiful and they sell homemade lemonade and ice cream...
We rented a boat and oars and the kids jumped off rock cliffs into the water. It was beautiful!!
No wait, the real highlight was when we were hanging out in the casino next to our hotel and I got carded! Sweeet! I'm sure they do that to all the ladies so they are more willing to lay money down on the table! I wasn't interested in gambling... not really my thing, however, this guy at a craps table we were watching kept eyeing me and then he laid $50 of chips on the table for me! MOI! It was insane! He was an older retired baseball player flashing his World Series ring. Creepy, but generous. I played a few rolls but I didn't really know what I was doing so I quit and walked away with $88!! Nice, right?
It was a great week!!
Thank you to these lovely wonderful parents who allow us these great adventures!!
We love you!

Wow - what beautiful scenery. I love the look of the Timberlodge. It's sad that you couldn't go out on the boat, but it appears that you had tons of fun anyway, just being together. Everyone looks so great.
We can hardly wait to see you on Thursday. Any special requests for things to do (besides Cafe Rio)?
Love you all!
Yea! You are back. Can't wait to hear how everything "turned out!"
I would say "Yea! You are back." but I know better. Have fun on your next adventure. Can I come by today and pick up the tent?
Whoa crazy about the craps table!!
