Primary Program

Jake designed the program cover for the annual Children's Primary Program at church.

Isn't it cute!? No matter that it's a bit segregated and there's candy-cane shaped continents! I was one proud mama!

His former teacher who is now in the Primary Presidency and over the program knew how much he loved to draw and color and fill up a page (beware of any writing or coloring assignments in church--Jake gets obsessed!) and so she asked him to do it a couple of months ago. He was really excited and had a vision and didn't want me to help. It was very cute.

The theme for the program was I Am A Child of God and Jake, Hannah, and Alex all sang fabulously and said their parts so nice and clear and memorized. It was a great day!

Sidebar: It was also the day that my favorite married brother-in-law (only one) Chris Barlow got called to the bishopric. Haaa Haaa! Love ya Chris--You'll be fabulous and I know how much you love meetings! (one statement was facetious, the other was not--you pick!) You really will be great and my prayers are with Lisa!

My camera battery was dead, so here's an old picture from June in front of the Oakland Temple.

That is such a cute picture! The whole segregated thing was hilarious! African people just live on the otherside right? So cute!
