Fall Fun

More pumpkin patching! It's still fall, right? Actually these are from last month.
My friend Kristi just gave me these pictures from our field trip to Forest Home Farms Pumpkin Patch with Alex's preschool.

It was fun to spend the day with my little guys.

"Aggs" and "O" as Alex says.

Alex and his best buddy Drew

Love this pic that Kristi took

Alex and his best buddy Jackson
They got to sing songs with the awesome guitar lady who was super enthusiastic and fun.

Here's a close up of her sweet tail...

Even Owen got into it...

Climbing the tractor...

And going through the hay tunnel...

Lovely...(Shouldn't I be the flower?)

Kristi and I--cool bees!

Speaking of bees, we got to see how they make honey...

(FYI--I'm up on a hill and the bee-keeper is down the slope from me. I'm not really an Amazon woman, although I look like one!! Is that PC? Sorry, I should say that I'm not really that tall!)
The class even got to plant something...cabbage??...it's probably still in my car somewhere actually.

Then they headed off through the maze. They started doing it the right way...

And then they got on top and thought that was a lot more fun...

Then they hopped from hay bale to hay bale.

These three (Jack-Jack, Aggs, and Drewbie) are quite the clique. They are so dang cute and fun and adventurous. Did I say cute?
Finally, Alex got to pick out his pumpkin...

This is the one he wanted but it wasn't in the budget!
Fun times!

fun, educational, early introduction to very bad hair, lots and lots of hay -- sounds like a blast to me.

Such Great photos - good job Kristie. I have to say that Drew was telling Brad about the songs they sung on this field trip "the guy taught us really fun songs!" Yes, "the guy" is that lady with the tail. She was great at entertaining the kids and mom's :) We loved her.
