Circus, Circus

Um, we went.
We saw.
We conquered.

I have to admit, I'm a little weirded out by circuses. Flabbergasted and oh so curious by those who pick a career in it and intrigued by the behind the scenes, but entertained nonetheless! I am a people watcher mind you. So, when the circus came to town and John said he got tickets I got on board.
We saw it all...trapeze artists, tight rope motorcycle riding, dancing dogs, crazy trampoline jumpers, hula hooping hot mamas, acrobats, clowns, contortionists (not to be confused with "extortionists" as I mistakenly told a friend) and last but not least, the awe-inspiring elephants who brought a tear to my eye for their remarkable performance (Sadly, because there were animal activists out front who gave me a paper as I was walking in that informed me that those poor elephants had been through torture techniques to perfect their craft.) It kind of ruined my night.
The kids though, the kids. The kids were in heaven. They loved all the death-defying and hocus pocus and crazy clowns and hoopla...and the sugar consumption of course. It was a fun night after all. Sadly, we had no camera battery to capture their awe and wonderment. I would say next time, but I don't know that I ever need to do that again.
Thanks honey!

awesome! I agree - Circus's are a little strange. That makes me sad about the elephants. Glad the kids enjoyed it though! It was so fun to see you! Hope to see you again soon!- Jess
